The 2025 Michigan Trout Unlimited Youth Conservation and Trout Camp was another resounding success. Much like last year, this year’s camp featured both a basic camp for first-time campers, and an advanced camp for second-year campers. From basic skills, knots, fish and insect identification and casting techniques to habitat improvements, aquatic ecology and the history of both fly angling and Trout Unlimited, Youth Camp continues to give each camper a very full week of life-changing experiences. The 2025 Youth Camp also saw a number of former campers return to serve as junior counsellors and several return to serve as full-time counsellors. The Michigan Trout Unlimited Youth Conservation and Trout Camp continues to make a tremendous difference in the lives of young people, while helping to shape the next generation of conservationists and anglers.
