Brief info
James is a life-long naturalist and conservationist, with his passion and purpose born in the dense forests and flowing waters that surround the fabled Au Sable River. Self-taught as a fly fisherman, James enjoys teaching others the art and science of casting dry flies while exploring new waters around his home state and beyond.
More than anything else, James is passionate about preserving, protecting, and restoring our natural resources for generations to come, including his daughter, an avid fly fisher in her own right. James is focused heavily on the mission and vision of Trout Unlimited and ensuring that our chapter continues to grow in its ability to Protect, Restore, Reconnect, and Sustain our cold-water and aquatic resources.
