Jon Chizmadia

Jon grew up in the Saginaw River watershed and was fortunate to be surrounded by excellent warmwater fishing opportunities. He attended college at Northern Michigan University where he was able to explore the endless wilderness fishing opportunities and hone his trout fishing techniques for native brook trout across the U.P.
In 2017, Jon returned to SW Michigan and became active with KVCTU serving At-Large on the board of directors committee and eventually co-chairing the Michigan Youth Conservation and Trout Camp. Jon is passionate about sustainability and enjoys working with new anglers and partners to increase our chapter’s conservation footprint.
